This policy explains what RYT Music Player collects, why, and what your choices are. It applies to the Android app and to this website.
RYT Music Player does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address or contact list. Your music library, playlists and settings are stored on your device and are not uploaded.
The app contacts our own servers to check for updates and to report faults. Those requests carry your device's IP address, and a fault report also carries the device model, the Android version, the app version and what the app was doing when the fault occurred. We use this to keep the app reachable and to fix crashes. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not sold.
The app is free and supported by ads. Ads are served through CAS.AI (Clever Ads Solutions), a mediation service that decides which advertising network fills each ad slot. CAS and those networks may receive your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and operating system details, coarse location derived from your IP address, and how you interacted with an ad. This is used to select ads, limit how often the same ad is shown, and measure performance.

You can reset or delete the advertising identifier at any time in Android settings, under Privacy or Ads. Deleting it stops the app and these networks from using it to personalise ads.
Where local law requires it, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and passes your choice on to the networks above.
This website does not set cookies. The app does not use cookies directly, though third-party libraries it includes may do so as part of their own services.
Besides the advertising partners named above, hosting and content-delivery providers carry the requests between the app and our servers and see the IP address those requests come from. They may access the information described above only to carry out that work and are not permitted to use it for anything else.
Commercially reasonable measures are used to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
The app and this site may link elsewhere. Those sites are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
This service is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, it is deleted.
This policy may be updated. Changes are posted on this page and take effect when posted, so it is worth checking back from time to time.
